Confucianism is a way of life taught by Confucius in the 5th-6th century BC. It believes in many teachings taught by Confucius but is not a complete religion. It is sometimes viewed as a philosophy, and sometimes viewed as a religion. It doesn't have a god. The Chinese have been following Confucianism for more than 2 millennium. It has deeply influenced spiritual and political life in China. East Asians may profess themselves to be Shintoists, Taoists, Muslims, and Christianity but seldom believe what Confucians believe. Some of it´s teachings are: Family love is a greater gift than gold, and you have to be nice and polite and be a true gentleman. Confucius had more than a thousand students some of them went with him on his travels, two of his favorite students died one in war, and the other in a lake.
